Seems like you're having issues and blaming everyone but yourself.

I've been using Cydia on my jailbroken 3G for a while, and I have plenty of experience installing/uninstalling/re-jailbreaking/etc. Never once run into an issue that wasn't my own damn fault.

Next time try looking for the source of the problem instead of blaming everyone else.

Jailbreaking the ipod touch seems pretty damn useless.

I jailbroke it, it lagged (yes, it was done correctly, 2.2.1), I had to restore my ipod, jailbroke again, it lagged and froze non-stop. Cydia is horrendously designed as well, there is no status bar when you install it. It's a useless POS application.

Cool app, unfortunately it turned my 2G a bit less responsive and increased battery consumption a whole lot. Uninstalled and all the issues ceased.
