A new day almost equals a new emulator being released by ZodTTD. Today he made the popular Genesis4iPhone application available for iPhones and iPod Touches running firmware 2.x. For all of you who haven’t used Genesis4iPhone, the sega genesis emulator for the iPhone i’d suggest to have a look at my old posts.

Here’s what is new in genesis4iphone v2.0.0:

• A port of Notaz‘s continued support of PicoDrive.
• New interface/GUI similar to mame4iphone.
• Sound has been heavily improved! To enable sound, goto Now Playing and turn up the volume slider before entering a game.
• Save state support is now working.
• Supports zipped ROMs, and they happen to load much faster than unzipped ROMs…still!
• Sega CD support is implemented though currently untested by ZodTTD.

Download and install Genesis4iPhone from Cydia.
For now, please create the directory’s ROMs and GENESIS (they are case-sensitive!)
in /var/mobile/Media/ROMs/GENESIS.
You can find a lot of roms for on this site and play :)
