It’s been some time since we heared about Zibri. Today he blogged again and this time he’s attacking the jailbreak community. Zibri also briefly mentions his upcoming?? ZiPhone release. He still doesn’t think his app is ready for public distribution. Check the post after the break.

About ZiPhone, the actual version I’m testing works pretty well, but it’s not ready at all for public release.
I hope it will someday.
In the meanwhile some real life personal matters are fullfilling my life and some router hacking (pirelli broadband/dialface wifi adsl2 routers) are keeping my mind focused :)As I already said I see no reasons now to rush to mod the iPhone. Apple did a wonderful job with appstore and suplies so the iPhone is available now in almost any country and in every form (locked, unlocked, PAYG).
Modding the iPhone at moment seems just a hypocritical synonym for “getting apps for free from appstore” and I’m not fine with that.
Let’s see what will happen.

I don’t agree with this statement of Zibri. Personally i have no cracked app store apps on my iPhone at all and i don’t plan to do it also. The reason why my iPhone is jailbroken is for the vast majority of disaproved app’s that get denied in the App Store and that are slowly becoming available in to Cydia and off course .. i like to personalize my iPhone with Winterboard :)

I agree, jailbreaking adds a lot more that what app store offers, like the GBA emulator, NES emulator and psx for iphone. How else can you play the original Mario on the train?

Zibri is acting like just a petulant little child that always threatens to “take his ball and go home”. Well I wish he would. :!:
His rants are getting real old, real quick and all his moaning and complaining is just plain tiring and childish. (Yes I used his 2.5c to jailbreak my 1.1.4, and yes I did like it and yes it did work. (Thank you Zibri)). But since then he has shown his true colors. No one wants to read about how good his method works but not sure if it’s ever going to be released. REALLY?!? Does he honestly need his ego stroked that badly?
With the DevTeam working tirelessly (Thank you DevTeam) with obviously the comunity’s interests at heart, and the ease and success of Pwnage, WinPwn, and QuickPwn, no one really needs or cares about Zibri or Ziphone anymore. It’s (he’s) obsolete!
I wonder if the real reason his method is not ready for public release is because he’s still trying to make a version of the DevTeam’s work “his own”?
I would post this on his website but couldn’t find a place to do so. Guess he’s not interested in feedback…just donations!

What more can he say…QuickPwn is the same as ziphone software…They both uses ramdisk and only difference is Dev team are on firmware 2.1+ and zibri still testing 1.1.2. iTouch not even iphone. I think…He need to get a life…
I like Ziphone because it works. QuickPwn and the other one never worked for me.
