The official version of Phonesaber has now been released into the App Store as Lightsaber Unleashed. The new app is based around the game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed which was released for iPhone and other platforms earlier this week.
The developers of the original game PhoneSaber were approached by Lucas Arts due to concerns about infringement. But the developer of the app has worked with the team to create an official version of the App.
The new app imitates a Light Saber by playing sound effects when swinging your phone. The new version also has
- 5 characters from The Force Unleashed, each with their own unique Lightsaber
- Dueling music for “extra fun”
The app is free in the AppStore but is not yet available in the UK.
UPDATE: LightSaber Unleashed seems to be unavailable at this time. Definately in the UK and quite sure for the US also.

Its not on the Canadian One Either…. WTF its not in the UK/US/CAN versions…. so what versions are there lol
i can NOT find it in the us appstore on itunes or my iphone
