Apple has released Remote 1.1, in this latest version you can create Genius playlists, create and edit playlist in iTunes directly from the application. Remote works with your Wi-Fi network and allows you to control the music on your computer or Apple TV from your iPhone or iPod touch around your home.

Remote 1.1 is available as a free download from the App Store for all iPhone and iPod touch users running software 2.0 or later.

        the main broblem with remote application is that it’s too slow to load up.

          Version 1.1 has also moved the speaker control menu.
          It is no longer in the settings screen.
          To access speakers you now tap the now playing screen which will bring up the song progress bar, genius etc at the top and access to speaker control at the bottom of the screen will appear.
