First iPod Nano Spy-shots Apple to release more than just a new iPod on September 9th?
Sep 06

The Iconfactory and its chief typist, Craig Hockenberry, have been hard at work on Twitterrific 1.1, a substantial update to their mobile Twitter client for the iPhone and iPod touch. Today they released the update and it features much smoother scrolling, larger tweet capacity, the ability to save pictures to the camera roll before uploading them to TwitPic, and secure HTTPS server communication.

It also squashes a large number of bugs. A full accounting of the changes is available on the app store page.

For Twitterrific, 2 versions are available Twitterrific (the free version) which shows ads, and Twitterrific Premium that goes for $9.99, and that is ad-free.

Not the update. The update is where the emphasis is.

Is there a compelling reason to use this over Twinkle though? It’s free, and rocks.
