A new big security risk has been found in firmware 2.0.2. A simple trick will give everybody access to all of the personal information (mail, sms, contacts and safari). To achieve this ‘hack’ you just have to follow some simple steps. First setup a password on your iPhone.
Step 1:unlock your iPhone
Step 2:tap on the button Emergency call
step 3: doublepress on the home-button
After this you will be able to see the favorites and call them! After this you can get access to the addressbook, the normal phone-keypad and the voice-mail!
But that’s not all. If you now press the blue arrow next to the name you will get full access to the private information of all persons. If you now tap on a e-mail address, the mail application will open. And if you have a url in one of your mails you can start Safari !
I tested this on firmware 2.0.2 and 2.0.1 and to my knowledge it’s only firmware 2.0.2 who has this bug, so to all who haven’t upgraded just yet, Don’t !
This workaround totally makes using a pass-code useless, so be warned.

So? Lock your simcard.
This is blown way out of proportion.
multi let’s forget this detail for a second. Ow there any reason u can see why the need to upgrade 2g to 2.02? I can’t see any?
Whatever firmware allowed users to manage their double pressing home button feature will be enabling this leaked hack.
This “big” security issue is retarded as hell. First, you would have to have lost your phone. Then you would need some other douche that has read about this “hack” to pull it off.
All in all I don’t plan on tossing my phone around town…so this big issue is actually really stupid. It’s not a pressing issue at all!
or you could simply not have any favourites
Or set double tap home, to iPod….
