Last night Apple posted 3 new ads for the iPhone. The ads are titled “Lonely Planet”, “Cro-Mag” and “Vicinity”.

The main purpose of these 3 ads is to demonstrate the App Store’s ability to download apps directly from the App Store to the iPhone.

-’Lonely Planet’ demonstrates downloading Lonely Planets Mandarin Mobile Phrasebook to show how to ask for a restaraunt recommendation
- ‘Cro Mag’: demonstrates downloading Pangea Software’s Cro-Mag Rally and using of the iPhone as a steering wheel for race car gaming control.
- ‘Vicinity’: demonstrates downloading ActiveGuru’s Vicinity in order to find a nearby café and view its location on a map with directions.
