Zibri is back lately. First he announced a new version of his Ziphone software and now he responds to the iPhone-Dev team QuickPwn release.
Let me tell you something about the columbus egg and quickpwn.
Quickpwn works exactly on the same principle of ZiPhone:it creates a ramdisk and executes it. In the crafted ramdisk a patcher modifies the OS for activation. It’s conceptually a good work (ZiPhone was indeed a good work).
I am glad dev team abandoned their pwn to switch to a ZiPhone like program.
Now who is the idea stealer here ?Anyhow, enough with drama.
My new “egg” idea has nothing to do with all this.
And I don’t even know if I will ever release it.
For now (as it happened with ZiPhone) I am using it and testing it.
Are we going to see Ziphone XX soon?

abandoning the pwn idea?
pwn, idea is that a firmware is created and restored to itunes to unlock/activate/jailbreak

this was actually my first thought when i read quickpwn, they just wont admit it. clearly there was arguing over this method, because they dissed zibri SO MUCH for his method and “stealing it”. now they release the faster easier way WHICH EXISTED ALL ALONG, after they think ppl forgot zibri. what a fucking JOKE.
i respect the dev team, and their work, but when they now bullshit the community, i think geohot is 900 % more right. the only reason the custom firmware gig came out, was to avoid the zibri issue. they need to come out and apologize, because frankly this infighting is bullshit.
jazir, are you kidding me? dev team has quickpwn leaked for a couple days beofre official release.. now zibri has something like quickpwn out there soon after?
zibri needs to get punch in the face. all hes doing is promising people on his site and GLADLY stealing their money(aLa donation box) with nothing to show.. but maybe even a quickpwn clone.

I am new to this whole thing. But from what I can see Zibri is a person who is self centered. Look at his site. He is very focused on himself and all he can seem to do is talk about himself or his grand ability. The Dev team seems to publish info based on what they have done!!! And they do not have a personal picture of them self. On their web site to download it is not a site that talks of bragging rights. It is fact and download site. Whats the names of the Dev team? I see the Woz on the site. Also it is an .org site. They either produce or they update. I am not the best programmer in the world but I know when some one is hung up on their self and need the world of iPhone hacking to say. Awe poor Zibri. Either lead follow or get out of the way. This world is rough. You either sink or swim. What’s it gonna be Zibri. Either shut the hell up or get to work and do better than the the other guy. I am getting sick of this crap. Looks like we need a cell phone like the iPhone but from another company. I mean a real iPhone clone. Not the ones from china. But ones from a major carrier. Then people can switch and forget about this iPhone software crying for people who look to see how many will take their sides. Oh and Zibri. You may not even get this whole message so just go take a powder and write VIC 20 code in your bathroom. The rest of ya. Look at present accomplishments not the past. So far the Dev team has come through for me more than Zibri. His break was on the 1.1.4 platform. The dev team is on the 2.0 and is currently coming out with the 2.1 platform break. :!:
I agree. This guy is complaining allot and he has a self centered attitude. Maybe he should give it up. I know that the DEV team is on top of things.
Well. I think the guy is a little to harsh on zibri. But I do agree that Zibri needs to quict complaining and start producing. Dev team does and doesn’t bitch about it. I am just glad that the dev team is here for us.
