MagicPad is by far the best text editor available for the iPhone yet. To select text, you simply double tap, and drag to select what you want. You can then do what you want to the text. By tapping and holding the first button on the left, you can change the font. The choices are Serif, Marker, Mono, Sans, Cursive, and Type. You can also change the font size, from sizes of 14, 16, 24, 30, or 36. By tapping the third icon from the left, you can change color. The next button adds inflections, like bold, italics, etc. Then finally, the last icon gives you the cut, copy, and paste options. The great things is, that you can cut/copy something from one note, and paste it into another. You may also email the note if you want.Â

I have been using this app for a week now. The text selection is really easy to use. The only thing I wish is that it worked with the native apps. They have a video on their website about how it would work system wide but so far it’s not working yet.
No landscape/horizontal keyboard support for text editor? :shock:
