xTube 2.0 has still not been released, but i have learned some information about the 2.0 update. read on for features.
MxTube 2.0 is a YouTube video downloading application. version 1.5 was released a few days ago for firmware 2.0. Some of the features we will be seeing in the 2.0 version is interesting. One such feature we will be seeing is an flv to mp4 video conversation built in. let me explain this.
MxTube searches through apples mobile YouTube feed. YouTube.com contain videos that are not in Youtube mobile. searching youtube.com requires an flv to mp4 video conversation, which is not currently in mxtube 1.5 but will be in mxtube 2.0. so to put it short: you will be able to search for videos on youtubes actual site or their mobile site. (this is why under v.1.5a you have the option to select youtube.com when searching for a video but it says feature unavailable) (apples current youtube.app cannot do this)
Another feature will be a plugin system. this will allow others to add additional sites to MxTubes search.
sounds like max has been very busy on this one! There is not yet an estimated release date.

I have on 3g “MxTube v1.5 – f2.0″ from Cydia, of course xD
that is mxtube version 1.5 for firmware 2.0.
Question: videos downloaded with the previous mxtube running on 1.1.4 can be watched with 2.0 compatible mxtube?
