This one was an odd find. Nullriver, the developers that originally created Installer, have released an 3G/EDGE tethering app for iphone called NetShare. This 10$ app lets you use your iphones internet connection to connect to the internet on your laptop when your somewhere with no Wi-Fi. Its inclusion in the app store is curious and it is unknown if this would go against AT&T’s agreements.
Update: it seems as if the app has since been taken off of the appstore.Â
Update 2: Here is a guide on how to set it up for mac users. (if you were able to grab it before it disappeared)
Update 3: For windows users guide go here or here. (i believe only for XP) *you must have Firefox to tether your iPhone 3G

Uh oh. It looks like it’s been taken down. I get “The item you’ve requested is not available”. Is anyone else getting that?

For owners of a Jailed iPhone there is no reason to pay 8€! for that app. Since 1.1.2 there are a lot of HowTos in the net explaining the same function.
