In one of my last posts, I talked about how Aurora Feint had been removed from the App Store for security reasons. Well, as it turns out, the reason for Aurora Feint’s removal is all speculation. One of the developers of Aurora Feint commented the last post and gave me a link their official forum.
UPDATE: Aurora Feint is now officially back in the App Store.
In that forum, the developers posted this:
“I would like to clarify that we do not know why our application was removed from the store. We submitted an update hours before being delisted. Apple has not contacted us and their policy is to contact developers when an app is removed. It’s possible there is a bug in their update system. We have been trying to figure out a way to contact someone at Apple who can give us more information. All media reports that we were removed due to “lousy security practices” are pure speculation.
I would also like to add that as soon as we realized we were becoming popular we deleted all personal information from our servers in preparation for releasing a secure update. Even if you are currently playing the game and type in your info, we do not store it. In other words, the community feature has been disabled since Friday, July 18th.
We would like to clarify that your contact list was not, is not, and never will be stored on our servers. The only data we stored is what you typed in on the community page so other people could find you.”

So actually, the real reason for its removal is not known. They even deleted all information from their servers, and no longer stores it. I see no reason why this application should not be put back in the App Store. Post your opinions in a comment below.

I really like this app, and I was pretty satisfied to see it back on the store last night when they had all the updates including pandora, ebay, phonesaber, and last.fm. The only thing is, now the tilting feature does not work, i think, ive tried and tried rotating my phone and nothing changes, you can only move the blocks in one position… anyone?
tilting feature still works great on mine, might be sumtin wrong with your accelerometer?

i uninstalled it and deleted from my HD, after reinstalled it with the update and now it does´t want to open anymore, try download directly to the iphone or with itunes but no open , any ideas?
