Omg, people, you guys honestly do not need a manual. Download iTunes 7.7 from itunes.com, download the firmware with the link he’s provided, update iTunes, plug in your iPhone, shift click on restore and select the 2.0 firmware. Be sure to back up bookmarks and contacts.
If your phone is jailbroken or unlocked, both will be erased after the update. So if you rely on your phone being unlocked, do not update.

No this firmware is the official one from Apple. If you install it now your iPhone will be locked untill iLiberty, WinPwn or Ziphone has been updated. So i advice you all to wait at least till tomorrow. :razz:

So if you upgrade to firmware 2.0 from 1.1.4, will the applications already on the iPhone still function? Is it Jailbroken and Unlocked yet?

hey can someone answer a question plz? im getting an iphone 3g tomorow and im giving my old one to my mom. if i buy apps today will i be able to take them off and put them on my 3g iphone tomorow?
