AppStore – AirRemote for iPhone

AirRemote is a upcming application for the AppStore. The app will transform your iPhone and iPod touch into a full remote controller for your Television, but it will not come cheap. The application will have a price-tag of 99$ and thats not all.

To be able to use the remote, you will need to buys a external settopbox to connect your TV. The reason why you will need this extra box is cause the iPhone or iPod touch doesn’t have a IR controller. Most other devices like the iPaq can do this out of the box.
