According the the Australian iPod touch page of Apple. The AppStore will go live on 27th June. This would also imply that firmware 2.0 and iTunes 7.7 will be with us before 11th of July. Supposedly 27 June ? The Image has been taken right from the Apple Austalia website !!

Great ! hopes that the firmware come out earlier than AppStore, so people can start doing on jailbreak, unlock and activate it ! :D
well this would agree with what apple said on the march 6th event.
an early release of the firmware and itunes would be a great start to jailbreaking. bc now we’ll be on 2.0 with itunes being able to restore and what not. this would def be a good start.
