Moleskine v0.48b1 – Notes on steroids for your iPhone WWDC 2008 roundup (3G iPhone)
Jun 09

Maps Offline received a update, it’s not at version 0.60. Maps Offline is an Jiigy written App for using Maps.app offline on the iPhone or iPod Touch. With Maps Offline you can Manage your Cache, saving Routes for your next Trip or just search Streets. And All This when you’re offline. The are 2 new features i found in version0.60. The possibility to download map’s of some big city’s and the possibility to request a new city! Other then those 2 modifications i haven’t noticed a change.

1) Locate and install the update. The app does tell you to upgrade Jiggy to version 0.3. Although it didn’t do that the app was still working fine for me.

2) Some screenshots.

This little app is available in the Installer.app through the Big Boss packaging source, see our sources page.

There is no version of jiggy 0.3. The latest is 0.26. Not work this update on two iphones tested. Gives an error when trying to copy the map file.

what is the point of downloading the big city streets. it isn’t a map that we are downloading. just streets… so what is the point of doing that?

Downloading the street names will make it easy for searching offline :)

I don’t understand how to install it. I added the BigBoss pack with this adress: apptapp.thebigboss.org/repofiles/installer4/

          I still can’t find it!

          Thanks

Check out Wikimap as an alternative. The full version allows you to save open street maps for offline navigation and browsing. Visit
