We already knew that Telefonica was going to sell the iPhone in Spain. However a new microsite has been discovered on the website of Spains Movistar. The latest trend we see in the iPhone world is that Apple is partnering with multiple carriers in several country’s! Back to Movistar. A spanish webblog found the microsite but Movistar acted really quick and removed the pages. The page gave didn’t mention any special features, it only gave the users the option to subscribe for e-mail notifications. Screenshot below

I don’t think Movistar is another carrier… it’ll probably be a subdivision of Telefonica… why would it have the Telefonica label in the lower right corner otherwise?
