Backup any iPhone or iPod (music) file with FileBrowser 1.5.2.0 Betty Crocker cooking app

After bringing us iPhone video recorder, Dreamcatcher has created another useful app. iPhone Recorder is a powerful sound recorder specially made for iPhone. It can record sound as mp3, m4a(ringtone required format) or aac on the fly, so you may record audio to ringtones directly. The recording is space saving, all-day-long high-quality recording will be a file as small as 0.5G. iPhone Recorder supports intelligent recording volume dynamic adjustment algorithm which guarantees better recording performance .
With iPhone Recorder, recording is easy and enjoyable, you may play back the sound, send it to ringtone, or send it out by email as you wish.

1) Locate and install the app.

2) When you launch the app you have the option to register or continue the evaluation. In evaluation mode you can record up to 60 seconds!

3) The settings page let’s you set some options.

  • Record volume gain (is needed in most cases as the mic is really low on volume!)
  • Show a hint message
  • Select the encoding format (mp3, m4a (needed for ringtones), aac)
  • Channel mode (stereo, mono)
  • Bitrate

4) Let’s record some sound.

5) Tap your recording to bring up the options. These include (playback, send to ringtone, send by email, rename, delete and dismiss)

If you like to set it as ringtone, rename the file first and set it to your ringtones.

This little app is available in the Installer.app through the iPhone Video recorder packaging source, see our sources page.

Enjoy

I have the same problems with muffled sound, also with vnotes! The sound is o.k. after shortly playing a song with the ipod function – that’s annoying, but makes it somehow usable…

One problem with this app is the developer. I actually purchased the license so I could use the full potential of this app. After purchasing the license the app still did not work properly. I am unable to record anything above 64kbps on the m4a setting. Also there are issues with making ringtones. I won’t go into detail on all the problems. The main problem is that I wrote the developer (in China) and I informed them of the problems I was having. I did receive a message telling me that they were aware of the problems and would be addressing some of them in upcoming upgrades. I informed them that I payed the fee to have the program work correctly now and didn’t feel I should have to wait for upgrades to fix what was suppose to be working on the version that I purchased a license for. Needless to say that went deaf eyes. All I am saying is that I would be careful when purchasing a license for this product.

No need to uninstall. A simple reboot should fix the problem.

I noticed after installing this app (non-registered) that I was having the noise-static problem also, then I realized that the same problem was occurring on video recorder app AND voice notes app. I then turned OFF the eq function in KATE, restarted my iPhone and the problem was gone.

                  good luck :)
