I already wrote a small review about pool version 1.0 some time ago (you can read it here.

Today i found a update in my installer for Pool. It’s now on version2.0.

So what changed? A lot of things..

You can finally play with 2 players now, either agains the computer or against a friend (not yet over wireless :()
A ton of new options :
-The option to rotate the controls for the 2nd player.
– Choose 3 levels of difficulty
– 5 options for match length (1, 3, 5, 10, 15)

Once you start the game, you can chose between 8 or 9-ball versions.
In the game there are a whole lot of new features too.
– A plus and minus sign that let’s you adjust your cue.
– The autosave function of your game, you can just go back to the menu by tapping the arrows in the corners, and then go back to your game.

But… there is a downside to the game, your are limited to 7 games a day with a maximum of 1 minute playtime until you register.

Let’s have a look on the howto.

1) You can find the game in the Games section of your installer.

2) Let’s run the game and have a brief look at it’s options.

3) Here are some screens of the game in action

Voila that’s it. This is a very nice game and i can recommend it for the times you wan’t to play a game on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

This little app is available in the Installer.app through the STE packaging source, see our sources page.
