HD-DVD has been officialy dead since a month or so, so now we’ll have to start focussing on Blu-Ray.
Netblender has created a SDK-kit for developers called BD Touch.
Now what does this do ?
The app let’s you pair your iPhone or iPod Touch with any Blu-ray disc player that has BD live functionality ( every Blu-ray player that’s pretty recent :) including your PS3).
The app gives you remote control possibilities on your iPhone, it can also copy a iPhone optimized version of the film directly to your iPhone or iPod Touch, it can catalog your collection, update & manage rental queue’s, display additional info & trivia of a movie, turn the blu-ray player to a games machine with the iPhone or Ipod touch.
Ok, it’s time to buy a ps3 :)
