The moment i bought my iPhone, i noticed that the speaker volume isn’t sufficient.
I noticed this the most, when i was outside in a loud environment.
Sometimes i didn’t even hear my iPhone’s ringtone, but not anymore.
After some investigating, i found out, that the iPhone’s speaker is covered with a thin plastic film.
You can’t see this very well with the naked eye, but believe me it is.
The key in increasing the volume is piercing the little holes on the iPhone.
Yes this may sound a little scary, but trust me, it really works !!
So what do you need ?
1 iphone :)
and 1 small needle.
Let’s begin.
Take a needle and your iphone. And start poking the holes on your left speaker.
Press hard enough that you hear going through the plastic cover, but don’t go too deep.
You don’t want to punch you’re speaker do you ? :)
Punch all the holes and you’ll notice an significant increase in your volume.
Only press the left speaker, as the right side is your mic and you don’t wanna punch a hole in your mic.
Once again, don’t go too deep, just enough to feel some resistance and then punch it.
voila … you’re iphone is about 10 to 30% louder :)
